Bladder cancer
doesn't wait.
Neither should
screening.

The Problem

Millions wait months
for screening that
could save their life.

Bladder cancer is most treatable when caught early, yet the specialists who screen for it are concentrated in a shrinking number of places. For most patients, access depends on geography and a long wait for an appointment.

The Device

Designed for the
point of care.

Lumenate's catheter-based cystoscope is being designed for non-urologists. It is designed to capture the images urologists need — without a urologist in the room, and without taking them out of the loop.

Our Approach

Enabling providers already in every community to deliver the screening patients need.

Lumenate Medical aims to enable non-urologist providers — Physician Associates and Nurse Practitioners — to perform bladder cancer screening, with specialist oversight built in. Multiplying what the existing urology workforce can reach.

Step 01
Image collection by non-urologist providers, such as PAs & NPs
Community providers use Lumenate's device to capture cystoscopy images with minimal training and built-in guidance.
Step 02
Asynchronous image review by urologists
Board-certified urologists review images remotely on their schedule — no patient visit required.
Impact
Faster results, earlier diagnosis
The goal: patients receive results in days, not months.
Impact

Better outcomes for everyone in the system.

Earlier diagnosis and expanded access are projected to create measurable value for patients, providers, practices, and payers alike.
